The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May, and June by Robin Benway

Robin Benway did a fantastic job with "The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May and June".The sisters are funny and entertaining. She gives each an amazing individual personality that helps the reader to follow along with their story.

Each sister narrates a chapter. Robin has done this in away that as the reader you won't need stop and take a look at who is speaking. You can distinguish this by the way they speak and how they express themselves.

I like how each sister's power complements their personality.

April (Oldest and can see the future)
April is the oldest sister and she uses her power in order to protect her family. She looks into their future in hopes of keeping them safe from any harm that might come to them in the near future. By always staying a step ahead of them and trying to protect them from every little thing, she has created tension between her and her sisters.

June feels April is to bossy and controlling, so she rebels and winds up in trouble.

May (Middle sister and can become invisible)
May has had a hard time with her parents divorce. She keeps to herself and doesn't try to make friends. She sees herself as invisible to the world already, so the fact that she can become invisible is an added bonus. She can skip school and if she needs to get away she can become invisible and escape the situation she is in at that moment in time.

But because of her ability she winds up feeling more left out and becomes distant from her family.

June (Youngest and can read minds)
June is the youngest and thinks she knows everything because she can read minds. She tries so hard to fit it and be popular. She uses her abilities to become friends with Mariah who is the "it" girl at school. It's not long before she finds herself in trouble with her new best friend.
Will the sisters be able to come to turns with their powers, or will their powers destroy their love for one another.

Forget You by Jennifer Echols

Summary: When swim team captain Zoey wakes up from a car accident with partial amnesia, she is torn between the boy she remembers...and the one she doesn't.

Review: Jennifer Echols is truly an amazing story teller. She makes you feel like you are the character. You can't help but be drawn into her stories.

Forget You, has left me at a loss for words. It is easily one of my top favorite books of all time. The chemistry between Zoey and Doug is electric. You can't help but be pulled into their story.

Zoey's mother has tried to commit suicide and is now in the hospital for treatment. Her dad leaves with his pregnant 24 year old girlfriend to get married. Zoey gets into a car accident after leaving a party and can't recall anything that happened that night.

Now, trying to piece the night together without telling anyone. Zoey finds herself in a world where her boyfriend doesn't want to spend time with her and her enemy since ninth grade wont leave her alone.

Doug has no idea that Zoey can't remember the events of that night. He has been in love with her for years. He shows up at her house the day after the accident to find her acting as if nothing ever happened between them.

He stays close to her and protects her in anyway possible. But in the end, will he get what he has always wanted or will Zoey reject him.

The Ghost and The Goth by Stacey Kade

Review: I never want this couple to ever part.
Stacey Kade has written a fabulous novel with witty humor and a couple completely opposite from one another, yet perfect for each other.
Alona Dare had it all. She was the Homecoming Queen, Ms. Popular and had the boyfriend most only dream about. Life was great until she was hit by a school bus. Now she is forced to spend the rest of eternity as a ghost.
Unable to find the "White Light", she walks the halls of the school to hear how everyone truly felt about her. Her perfect boyfriend and best friend apparently aren't so perfect and the rest of the school hates her.
Will Killian is the school outcast who has a very dark secret. He can see, speak and touch ghosts.
He has spent his life trying to avoid the dead and block them out. That all changes once Alona realizes he can see and hear her.
When attacked by other ghosts seeking his help to find closure, Alona comes to his rescue with one condition. He has to help her because not only can't she find the "White Light", she is slowly disappearing.
Can Will save Alona in time before she disappears for ever? Or will he wind up in the crazy house for talking to things that no one else can see but him?
The two make an unlikely pair but soon they find a middle ground. Just the interaction between Will and Alona is enough to have me re-read this book.
I give it two thumbs up. If you are into the supernatural and unrequited love.

It's Not Summer Without You, by Jenny Han

Review:
If you haven't read The Summer I Turned Pretty, you must go out and get it before reading the sequel. This is truly another great book written by Jenny Han. A perfect book for any romance fan.
Belly is funny and heartfelt. You will find yourself getting wrapped up in these characters. I couldn't help but feel Belly's loss and hope that she would be able to find the closure she truly needed.
A year is truly to long to wait for the third installment. But I will be sure to pre-order the next book as soon as it is made available.
