It's Not Summer Without You, by Jenny Han

Review:
If you haven't read The Summer I Turned Pretty, you must go out and get it before reading the sequel. This is truly another great book written by Jenny Han. A perfect book for any romance fan.
Belly is funny and heartfelt. You will find yourself getting wrapped up in these characters. I couldn't help but feel Belly's loss and hope that she would be able to find the closure she truly needed.
A year is truly to long to wait for the third installment. But I will be sure to pre-order the next book as soon as it is made available.

Product Description:
All Meg has ever wanted is to get away. Away from high school. Away from her backwater town. Away from her parents who seem determined to keep her imprisoned in their dead-end lives. But one crazy evening involving a dare and forbidden railroad tracks, she goes way too far...and almost doesn't make it back.

John made a choice to stay. To enforce the rules. To serve and protect. He has nothing but contempt for what he sees as childish rebellion, and he wants to teach Meg a lesson she won't soon forget. But Meg pushes him to the limit by questioning everything he learned at the police academy. And when he pushes back, demanding to know why she won't be tied down, they will drive each other to the edge -- and over....

Review:
Going Too Far is a must read. This story is truly unforgettable.

Meg goes too far one night and as punishment is assigned to follow John on night shifts for one week during spring vacation.

Both Meg and John have been effected by tragic events in their past. Each go to very extensive lengths to leave their lives in accordance to how their past has influenced them.

Meg has decided to live her life to the fullest and escape this small town she has lived in her entire life.
John intends to live his life by the law.

Both push the other to see the world from their eyes and by doing so push one another too far. The question is, will their love for one another with stand tests, or will they push each other too far.

This is one love story you won’t want to miss. I find myself reading this book again and again.
Jennifer Echols has written two characters that are full of strength and bravery. You will laugh, cry and find yourself routing for each character as they face each obstacle that they come up against.
